Position Details

Regional Sales Representatives

In the Regional Sales Representative, or RSR position, individuals will have an excellent opportunity to experience "on the job training" from a top Regional Sales Manager, or RSM, at Business Credit Leasing.

Duties

Work each day with the Senior RSM helping them to develop the region.

Learn all aspects of the RSM position by going on all appointments.

Prepare all Sales Call Planners, Program Proposals, and Rate Charts as well as attend trade shows and meetings with Sr. RSM.

Travel with two other Senior RSMs.

Develop a thorough knowledge of programs, rates, credit procedures and documentation requirements. Become a strong user of the Hewlett Packard calculator as it applies to lease structuring and analysis.

Become an expert in the office technology markets, i.e. terminology, applications, specific vendor needs, competitors and other areas deemed applicable.

Develop marketing material, i.e. brochures, flyers, customized training material and other selling material to fit the needs of each individual vendor.

Work with their assigned Senior RSM for a period of at least six months before being eligible for their own region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university or one to two years related experience and/or training

Strong communication skills

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Strong negotiating skills

Credit Trainee

In the Credit Trainee position, individuals assist Account Executives in processing applications utilizing a credit scoring model and other financial tools to determine credit worthiness. Credit Trainees will have the opportunity to cross train in other areas of the company such as Documentations, Customer Service, Collections and Equipment Dispositions. To be successful as a Credit Trainee, individuals must be able to apply excellent analytical and communication skills in a fast paced business environment.

Duties

Assists in the lease processing including application entry and credit worthiness

Works closely with Account Executives to ensure optimal turnaround time on credit applications and special requests

Cross trains in other areas within the Proficom group

Keeps current on approved lease rates and special rate arrangements

Makes direct calls to bank and trade references and other credit sources

Analyzes financial statements, credit bureau reports, and Dun and Bradstreet reports

Assists Credit Manager with special projects as assigned for personal and career development

Qualifications

Business degree or related experience required; financial background helpful

Aggressive individual possessing strong verbal communication skills

Must be able to work independently and possess strong decisions-making skills

Documentation Coordinator

Documentation Coordinators review lease documents for accuracy and legal integrity prior to the payment of funds for leased equipment. This position requires precision, efficiency, and speed while documenting account information and communicating with a diverse customer base.

Duties

Ensures timely funding of lease files by reviewing documents and programs for accuracy and correctness

Ensures proper handing of lease programs and funding for multiple vendors

Communicates with vendors and staff regarding documentation issues, new programs, and pending approved lease applications

Assist Documentation Manager with special projects as assigned for personal and career development

Qualifications

Must have schooling in business and/or 2-3 years work experience

Excellent communication, analytical skills, and ability to catch on quickly required

Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines necessary

Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision

Strong typing and 20-key skills helpful along with PC knowledge in Excel and Word

Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representatives understand the entire leasing cycle beginning with the initial approval to the completion of the lease contract. Interaction with customers throughout the nation is managed on a daily basis using a state of the art computer system to access information. Enthusiasm, sensitivity, and superior listening are qualities of customer service representatives.

Duties

Ensures that customer and vendor concerns regarding all aspects of invoicing, buyouts, tradeups, and other applicable areas are being handled in a timely and satisfactory manner

Negotiates customer fees and writes up adjustments

Handles all billing address changes

Runs QMFs and tracks daily and weekly statistics

Processes maintenance and meter reports and fees

Assists Customer Service Manager with special projects for personal and career development

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, telephone etiquette, problem-solving and negotiation skills

Ability to analyze and handle difficult situations quickly and efficiently through sound judgment

Ability to work independently with limited supervision essential

Working knowledge of the PC with experience in word processing, spread sheets and strong typing skills (50 wpm) required

Regional Sales Manager

Regional Sales Managers identify and secure new customers and work with their internal teams to maintain and grow business relationships with existing customers. Financing Specialist

Sales Financing Specialists focus on identifying and developing a client base within the computer industry. To be a successful Sales Financing Specialist, individuals must possess a background of success, the ability to establish and enhance business relationships, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Duties

Further develop current computer vendors for additional leasing volume in which the vendor would like assistance in obtaining credit applications, documenting and closing transactions.

Solicit new computer vendor sources for additional leasing business through internal phone solicitation.

Attend periodic trade shows with your vendor sources in an effort to further enhance your position within the account.

Develop marketing material, i.e. brochures, flyers, etc. to go out to current and new lessees of your vendor relationships.

Broadcast Fax marketing material to new vendor sources at predetermined intervals.

Become an expert in the computer marketplace, i.e. terminology, applications, etc. to assist your selling efforts.

Keep Director of Internal Sales and General Manager current and up-to-date on the status of client relationships and competitive leasing programs.

Develop a thorough knowledge of Proficom programs, rates, credit procedures and documentation requirements. Become a strong user of the Hewlett Packard calculator as it applies to lease structuring and analysis.

Qualifications

Four year degree in business related field; financial background helpful
